The Vancouver Affordable Housing Agency (VAHA) was recently mandated to implement a substantial number of affordable market units to help mitigate the housing crisis within the city.  One of the first of these projects is Parcel 8A, which is located within the River District development.  The project involves construction of 109 residential units in a 5-storey wood frame building.

Alan Nicholson represented VAHA by developing an overall performance specification, overseeing the development management process and ensuring the needs/wants of VAHA were fully embedded in the design.  In addition, we led the negotiation of the construction contract terms for the project.
