St. John’s School is undergoing a campus transformation through a series of capital projects. Phase 1 included the construction of a new Senior School, which was opened in 2008. Phase 2 involved the construction of a 30,000 sf expansion to the Middle and Senior School program (new music, drama and arts classrooms, new science labs, new learning commons). It further involved the construction of a new common atrium area that provides multi-purpose functions and additional breakout area.
The design focuses on incorporating 21st century learning concepts, including ‘movement furniture’, transparency, high quality learning environment (lighting, HVAC, acoustic treatment), and state-of-the art IT infrastructure.
