Darren was the Design Project Manager for the new 8-storey Diagnostic and Treatment Building at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Vernon, BC. This project was combined in the same procurement as the Kelowna ACC. Taken together, this project was the largest bundled healthcare P3 project in BC at the time.

The building features a 60 metre (186’) long, two-storey tall laminated timber and glass canopy system that is the entry feature of the building, which visible to the public, visitors and the surrounding neighbourhood. It included a roof garden design developed for the Hospital Foundation for the Level 4 Maternity and Child program.
