Diagnostic Cardiology Dept

Project Value: $5 M

Relocated the diagnostic cardiology department within the Eagle Ridge Hospital to create space for a new expanded emergency department. The new diagnostic cardiology department included the use of DIRTT wall systems and innovative graphics of nature to promote a less stressful environment. This department included spaces for electrocardiogram, Holter monitoring and cardiac stress testing.

This project was in the interior of the hospital without any access to an exterior wall. Careful planning was required for infection control, security, material deliveries and worker access. Hospital operations were always maintained.

The pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus occurred in the middle of this project. The project team responded to the new requirements quickly and proactively. The safety of the workers, hospital staff, patients and visitors were maintained through this uncertain time. Through these efforts, the department was able to open on schedule.
