Project Overview
MAKE is assisting Fraser Health Authority with the redevelopment of the Burnaby Hospital to be completed in two phases. The first phase, which is currently underway, was procured through a competitive Design-Build-Finance (DBF) model, while the renovation components of the project were procured through a Construction Management (CM) model. The second phase of the Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment project has an expected total project cost of approximately $800 million.

In addition to providing project management, MAKE completed the procurement options and market sounding exercise to assess a range of delivery options available for the second phase of the development. We identified and recommended an option that offers the best opportunity to successfully deliver the project and provides the best value to taxpayers.
